Understanding Climate Change
It’s not necessary to know all of the science surrounding climate change to appreciate that we need to take action to slow or reverse it.
All most of us need to know is that:
The main cause of climate change is a build-up in Earth’s upper atmosphere of carbons and other gases;
The build-up mostly results from human activity - such as the burning of fossil fuels, industry, traffic pollution, deforestation and so on;
Now we understand what’s going on, it’s well within our abilities to start fixing the problem by simple changes to the way we live.
